Overview Angie is an expert with more than 15 years of healthcare experience in the areas of revenue cycle, compliance, medical coding, team leadership and staff training. Her comprehensive understanding and broad knowledge base covers physician, hospice, ambulance, infusion, dialysis and medical facility billing.
Given her qualifications, Angie is responsible for quality coding and billing compliance reviews and provider education that directly supports clients in their continuous improvement efforts. She also provides ongoing education to medical and healthcare professionals such as physicians, coders and billing staff.
Prior to Pinnacle, Angie managed revenue cycle and medical coding teams where she provided oversight for intake, billing, collections and payment posting. She also trained coders and developed medical coding teams that lead to the creation of a revenue cycle training program. Leveraging her insight, Angie was often a key stakeholder in the selection and implementation of multiple practice management software systems.
In addition to her experience in medical coding and billing, Angie is a certified trainer and coach and has an extensive background in professional training and development. She has worked with organizations to develop/facilitate programs specific to their unique needs, including new manager training, leadership development, communications training, individual development and department specific skills training.
