Overview A proven leader in both the clinical and operational development and management of physician office practices, Cheri brings over 35 years of consulting and practical experience to Pinnacle. She has guided a variety of physician start-up practices in various clinical specialties, working with both small and large physician groups in turn-around situations. She has experience managing both profit centered organizations as well as federally funded community health organizations.
Cheri has developed training materials, policy manuals, and a variety of organizational materials with topics including HIPPA implementation, regulatory compliance, and certifications including AAAHC and HFAP.
Prior to consulting, she served as a hospital Vice President, leading the organization in service line development, hospital construction management, hospital-wide accreditation, compliance, and daily operations management.
Cheri holds both a BS and an MSN degree in nursing from Indiana University. Her clinical specialties were centered on emergency and critical care nursing, although she spent clinical time in cardiology and general medical-surgical care.
Her consulting practice expertise has centered on working directly with physician owners, their governing boards and the management team in those practices. Additionally, she has served in leadership roles on the Indiana Primary Healthcare Association Board, the Chamber of Commerce, and helped organizations with community relationships and fund-raising projects.
