Karen DeHerrera

Karen has over 35 years of healthcare industry experience as a practice manager administrator. She specializes in the development of policy and procedure workflows to improve intake and accounts receivable, focusing on maximizing cash flow and lowering loss.

As Director of Revenue Cycle Management, Karen conducts operational development of policy and procedure workflows and provides assessments to improve intake and accounts receivable to maximize cash and lower bad debt loss, as well as investigate billing and reimbursement anomalies affecting practices.

Prior to Pinnacle, Karen spent 27 years as the Accounts Receivable Manager for a large nephrology practice of 100+ physicians, including 4 ambulatory surgery centers. In addition, she managed the accounts receivable for a large genetic laboratory and supervised billing and intake for a large ambulance company.

Karen is a member of the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology and MGMA Medical Group Management Association.
