Tony Malcoun.

Tony has over 25 years of healthcare management consulting experience. He offers a broad national perspective and thought leadership derived from serving as an advisor to health system executives in more than 95+ markets and 45 states. Tony’s areas of expertise include health system and service line strategy, financial transformation, partnerships, value-based care, payor strategy, Clinically Integrated Networks, and physician incentives.

Prior to joining Pinnacle, Tony was a Vice President and practice leader for two national consulting firms. He has also worked closely with private equity groups on due diligence matters as well as turnaround strategies for underperforming investments. Tony began his professional career as a practicing lawyer in Commercial Litigation in the states of New York and Illinois.

He has been an invited speaker/panelist on industry topics for health systems, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation, the American Health Lawyers Association, HFMA, ACHE, technology companies, as well as MBA programs at Northwestern, University of Chicago, and the University of Michigan.

Tony holds an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, with a focus on marketing, technology and healthcare. He received his JD from Brooklyn Law School and his BA from the University of Michigan.
