Matt is a seasoned operations and business development executive working for health systems for the past 20 years. His expertise includes leading and implementing operational and growth initiatives in healthcare delivery systems. As a Director of Pinnacle’s Strategy, Value-Based Care and Operations Division, Matt has a broad set of capabilities from his experience working in a multitude of settings from health systems, academic centers, ambulatory settings and physician practices.

Matt started his career as an Administrative Fellow with Yale New Haven Health in 2005; later, he held progressive leadership roles with expansive operational responsibility within the health system and served as the Executive Director of Business Development.  This included growing existing programs and expanding services in new markets. He also served as Vice President of Operations at Montefiore Medical Group with functional responsibility for clinical operations, quality, revenue cycle and finance. His extensive experience has helped him build a deep foundation in physician practice management, strategic planning, and business development.

Matt earned his Master of Public Health in Health Management from Yale School of Public Health and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Boston College. He is a recipient of the Regent’s Young Careerist Award and a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
