Jessica Sullivan brings over a decade of experience in professional-fee auditing and coding across a broad range of specialties, including OBGYN, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Pediatrics, Dermatology, Cardiology, Neurology, Pain Management, Durable Medical Equipment, Family Practice, Podiatry, General Surgery, and Internal Medicine. Prior to earning her coding certifications Jessica provided administrative and management support to Pinnacle, giving her valuable insight into operational processes and client service.
Most recently, Jessica has partnered with clients specializing in Dermatology and Neurology, where she contributes to project management, and coding and denials resolution, and client communication. She conducts missing documentation analyses, coordinates and performs provider education, performs due-diligence reviews, and offers strategic recommendations to improve client professional-fee coding accuracy and compliance.
Jessica has also shared her expertise through contributions to Pinnacle’s coding blog and the AAPC Coding Alert addressing a range of industry topics. Earlier in her career, Jessica worked in banking, where she developed strong customer service, organizational and multi-tasking skills that continue to inform her professional approach with clients.
