Abedi brings more than 20 years of extensive valuation experience to Pinnacle as a Manager supporting the Business Valuation service line. His expertise includes business enterprise valuation, intangible asset valuation, potential acquisition assessment, valuation of portfolio companies for private equity, valuation of goodwill and asset impairment testing, mergers and acquisitions, deferred revenue analysis, diligence logistics, financial reporting, tax and regulatory compliance, and management planning.
Abedi’s ability to disseminate, analyze, and present data in more strategic and meaningful ways significantly elevates the value he brings his clients giving them greater clarity, insight and often a competitive edge. Developing lasting relationships, Abedi’s clients rely on him to provide the highly complex and comprehensive information they need to enhance short and long-range plans so they can more successfully navigate their markets and make critical decisions in real time.
Prior to joining the Business Valuation team at Pinnacle, Abedi held multiple management positions at leading healthcare, consulting, accounting, finance, private equity, and tax advisory firms. This includes Manager of Valuation for Mazars, CFGI, and Sentara Healthcare; Manager of Mergers & Acquisitions for Cognosante; Investment Manager for Aperture Group; Manager in Economic and Valuation Services at KPMG, and Senior Manager in Transaction Advisory Services at Ernst & Young. Abedi holds an MBA in Finance and a BBA in Business from Western Illinois University. He is also an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA).
