Melanie joined Pinnacle in 2015 and supports the physician compensation valuation division by assessing fair market value for a variety of arrangements including employment, call coverage, administrative services and consultative services, as well as other complex professional services agreements for both physicians and non-physician providers.
Her previous consulting experience includes developing financial models and performing operational analyses as part of Certificate of Need (“CON”) applications for large, multi-facility hospital systems and physician practices where she performs detailed fee schedule analysis and claims review/recovery. Melanie also conducted a comprehensive materials management assessment for a multi-facility system to identify supply chain savings including data analysis, process mapping and other inventory/process improvements. With over ten years of valuation experience, Melanie has worked in many areas of healthcare to include serving as a quality assurance director for a medical device manufacturing facility and facilitating a billing/operational function for a physical therapy practice.
Melanie holds a BS in statistics and an MBA with concentrations in finance and logistics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
