Amanda Crouch

Amanda has 14 years of experience in the healthcare industry serving as a coding auditor, physician educator, coding manager, and director of revenue cycle management. Currently, she serves as the Director of Coding & Charge Integrity, Physician Education for Pinnacle Healthcare Revenue Solutions.  Her expertise consists of overseeing and coordinating all activities associated with coding, auditing, and revenue cycle activities with a goal of maximizing reimbursement in a cost-effective manner that is in compliance with federal, state, and payer-specific billing requirements for 345 physicians nationwide. In addition to training billers, coders, physicians, and client staff on current coding issues, Amanda oversees the development and implementation of policies and procedures to prevent avoidable denials, increase production and maintain a high standard of quality and reviews denial trends for all major payers. She also conducts physician chart auditing and creates physician education tools and documents.

Amanda is an expert in coding and auditing for multiple specialties such as nephrology, interventional radiology, cardiology, vascular, OB/GYN, bariatrics, SNF, and long-term care. She is well versed with multiple PM/EMR systems such as Epic, E clinical works, Isalus, Allscripts, Encoder Pro, Kareo, Practice Fusion, Cerner, Acumen, Athena, MircoMD, Fivos, Collaborate MD, and Centricity EMR & PM.

Amanda is certified by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA), Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC) and Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC). She is a member of the Renal Physicians Association where she has served as the coding expert and speaker for the RPA Annual Conferences since 2018.
